I am Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver.
Through experience in a variety of clinical settings over the last 15 years, I have developed a pragmatic, flexible style that can be tailored to a variety of people. I take time to connect with you and gain a real understanding of what is going on in your life. Drawing on my varied experiences, I bring insightful and professional guidance to whatever issues you would like to address or changes you would like to make. My emphasis is on helping you recognize and leverage your own strengths and successes to get where you want to go.
Outpatient individual and group therapy

- Clinical support for severe and persistent mental illness
Emergency mental health treatment
Locked care facilities (residential treatment and detention centers)
Foster care support
Therapy can be complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. I strive to make it a simple and straightforward process that respects where you are and emphasizes where you want to go. All therapists are a little bit different, and for some clients, spending their sessions highly focused on processing feelings with little emphasis on moving forward isn’t helpful. This is something that speaks to me, and I’ve crafted my practice to cater to those clients. My sessions usually follow this structure:
Identify the issue
Explore how you feel about it
Work together to come up with a plan to enact positive change
Build the confidence and insight that will make change lasting and meaningful
Start the journey to a better you today!
